Avoid problems with spiders and other insects by keeping bushes and trees at least one foot away from your home. You should also trim mature trees so that they do not close in on the house, preventing roof rats from entering the attic.

Your garage door access and front door should not have daylight visible through the bottom. Make sure the threshold is adjusted and/or the door is sealed with weather stripping.

To prevent insect or rodent infestations, seal or caulk any holes in or around your home.
